Christmas means many different things for many different people. For some it means family, happiness, giving, presents and the largest meal you will eat in the year. For others who struggle throughout the year it can mean stress, misery, loneliness, problems, failure, embarrasment and hunger.
In 2011, the team at Greenaway Residential Estate Agents decided they wanted to make a long term difference in their community, so they set up The Greenaway Foundation. That year they helped five families, and over the years this number has grown and grown. The goal for Christmas 2023, is to help over 1000 families, equating to over 5000 people, by providing all the fresh ingredients they will need to cook a healthy two course Christmas Dinner.

Since 2017, many children from the families that are helped, can make a wish for a Christmas present up to the value of £25. These presents are delivered by over 300 reindeer (volunteers) just before Christmas Day. If you would like to sponsor a childs wish, please go to our gofundme page to make a donation.
