Mr Mover Wins Logo Competition for Greenaway Residential
So recently, we had a chat in the office about different things we could do to enhance our marketing. After a lot of thinking (and cups of coffee) we decided we wanted to create a new logo to represent our business. As part of the logo creation process, we ran a competition to name the new logo.
We thought the best way to make this competition successful but fun was to do it through a colouring competition. We decided to use a house for the logo and created a black and white scene in which the logo was the focus. We then approached the local community and asked them to colour in the scene and share their ideas for the name of the mascot.
Entrants had to be under 16 to enter the competition and the winner would not only be praised for naming our new logo but they would also receive the price of a free iPad air and £50 worth of Apple vouchers. The competition turned out to be a great success with over 100 entries, with a wide array of names and colours. The competition closed on Tuesday 28th February and then all the entries were judged by three impartial judges. It was a very hard competition to judge, but after lots of consideration, Darren was thrilled to announce that the winner was Daniel, aged 5. He came up with the name Mr Mover for the logo and did a fantastic job with the colouring!
The CEO, Darren said “Being involved with the community has always been a big priority for us and we were keen to get more involvement with the community to name our new mascot. The entry from Daniel was fantastic and we were thrilled to give him the prize.”
