West Green provides a range of properties dating from Victorian to modern and is within walking distance of the Town Centre and Crawley Station. West Green is home to Crawley Hospital, which houses a walk-in emergency centre. Transport is readily available in the neighbourhood with the Metrobus serving many stops in West Green and around Crawley such as a free bus service to the Asda superstore; it is for this reason that over 30% of West Green residents have no transport of their own.
West Green has its own Primary School aptly named West Green First; the many schools in Ifield are easily accessible from West Green and there is a range of both primary and secondary. West Green Primary School is a school which pride themselves on proving a stimulating and safe environment where children and enthusiastic about coming to school and go home at the end of the day happy and fulfilled.

There is a parade of local shops including a chemist and the area has two petrol stations and Sainsbury’s & Asda Supermarkets. For relaxation the area has the leisure park including a multiplex cinema and Ten-Pin Bowling West Green Park offers tennis courts, landscaped gardens, and a playground.
Sites of Interest
There is also an Anniversary Garden which opened in 1997 for the 50th anniversary of Crawley new town. Previously a putting green, the gardens are a relaxing place to take a walk or sit among the year round colourful plants. There are allotments located on Ifield road if you fancy yourself a dab hand at gardening.
