Christmas 2016 Appeal
We firmly believe in trying to help our local community wherever possible. Every year we raise thousands of pounds for charities like The British Heart Foundation, Help For Heroes and our own trust The Greenaway Residential Foundation which provides ad hoc support and Christmas lunches for financially challenged families.
The Greenaway Residential Foundation was setup with the purpose of helping local causes, individuals and families who may otherwise fly under the radar of getting help through normal channels. Our help can be anything from supporting a child to get to school, providing school dinners for families that cannot afford it or even buying a cooker so they can have regular cooked family meals.
This Christmas we are raising money to help local residents who cannot afford the luxuries of the season to receive Christmas in a Box (well their dinner anyway), we want to ensure that these families have everything to enjoy Christmas Dinner from the food, mince pies, sweets, pudding etc; and if we hear of a family in real need we may even provide the presents.
This is where you can help, our MD is raising money through a diet where he has already lost a stone (his goal is to lose two) and you can donate to the campaign on our page here, you can also nominate a family that you feel may be in need of our support via the campaign appeal form here. Please give generously and help us to spread the Christmas cheer, thank you.
